Now that’s dedication!

François Duboc and Éric Gravel are two Télénet Communications staff members who have been there from the beginning. In 1997 they joined brothers Bashkor and Robi Guha in building the Télénet Informatique business.

Welcome back, François!

Télénet Communications is proud to announce that telecommunications guru François Duboc rejoined our team of experts last fall. 

François serves as the network and telecommunications manager, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in ICT. He is a huge asset to our business and will help us continue to expand our network and develop our expertise.

François started off as a field technician and then began working with servers, routers, and other equipment. With the dawn of the Internet, he decided to enter the telecommunications field and never looked back. He obtained his network and Cisco certifications and then pursued training in advanced aspects of IT and telecommunications networking (Multiprotocol Label Switching and Border Gateway Protocol, specifically).

He was then recruited as an IT security analyst by Cégep de Jonquière. 

Éric Gravel, loyal to the core!

A loyal employee for 21 years, Éric is currently the infrastructure manager for Télénet Communications, focusing primarily on cloud computing, remote support, Web hosting, virtual servers, and related services.

Fascinated by the world of IT from an early age, he earned a degree in computer science and took his first job at Technique Informatique at the age of 18. Éric has also earned certain HPE certifications, including ASE (Server Solutions Architect V3) and VMware.

He has had the opportunity to climb the ladder over his 21 years at the company. Starting as a representative and technician, he moved up to sales and services manager, solutions architect, and then infrastructure manager. His considerable experience gives him unique insight the team uses to design and deploy solutions for customers.

He is an invaluable and highly versatile member of the team who is adept at gathering requirements, building custom solutions, and ensuring deliverables meet our customers’ expectations and business needs.
